18,000 BTU mini splits are rated 17,000 to 18,000 BTU and cover about 750–1,100 sq ft: a large living room, an open kitchen and dining area, or a two-car garage workshop. Every unit in this size is a heat pump, and the range includes Energy Star and WiFi models with SEER2 ratings up to 25.

Electrical note: every 18k unit we sell is 208-230V, so plan on a dedicated two-pole breaker sized to the spec sheet, wire from the panel, and a weatherproof disconnect at the condenser; there is no 115V option at this size.
